HOW TO CORRECTLY MEASURE YOUR HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE
An accurate head measurement is crucial when choosing headwear. With our guide, you'll do it flawlessly!
Step by Step Instructions
Prepare a soft measuring tape or a regular measuring tape. If you don't have a measuring tape, you can use a string or ribbon and then measure its length with a ruler.
Wrap the measuring tape around your head, placing it about 1 cm above your ears and eyebrows. This is the widest part of your head, which determines the correct circumference.
Make sure the measuring tape fits comfortably – it shouldn't be too tight or too loose. It should snugly touch your head without squeezing it.
Read the measurement in centimeters. Write down the result – this is your head circumference.
💡 Helpful Tips
For the most accurate measurement:
- Take the measurement twice to ensure it's correct
- If the result falls between two sizes, choose the larger one
- For long or thick hair, you can add 0.5-1 cm to your measurement to ensure a comfortable fit
Common Measuring Mistakes
Measuring from the end of the tape instead of from zero – always start the measurement from the 0 value on the tape
Providing measurements in inches instead of centimeters – all our products are adapted to measurements in centimeters
Applying the tape too loosely or too tightly – the tape should touch your head but not squeeze it
Measuring in the wrong place – the tape should go above the eyebrows and ears, at the widest part of the head
